Veteran Elliott Sadler has signalled his intention to sue his former employer Gillett Evernham Motorsports, claiming that his former NASCAR team is in breach of contract.
Sadler's lawyer says his client only learned last Tuesday (December 30th) that GEM had begun negotiating with Allmendinger to drive the No. 19 Dodge in 2009 - the same car Sadler is currently under contract to drive through 2010.
Sadler has been with GEM since August 2006. He finished 25th in the championship in 2007 and 24th this past season.
