The Dollar General 200 Nationwide race held at the Chicago Speedway on Friday evening will probably never go down as the most exciting race of the NASCAR Nationwide series but, as a second yellow flag was thrown for debris on the track, there were only eight laps left in the race to go.
Leader Joey Logano (Camry No 20) still stayed on the track with second-place Jason Leffler (Camry No 38) while other drivers including Kyle Busch (Camry No 18) chose to pit and add two new tires.
Nonetheless, on the restart, no matter how hard teammate Busch tried, he could not follow Logano who grabbed the checkered flag first followed by Busch, Brian Vickers (Camry No 32), Leffler and Kevin Harvick (Chevy No 33).
Busch still leads the championship followed by Edwards (Ford No 60) who ended up sixth and Brad Keselowski (Chevy No 88) who finished 18th at Chicagoland.
The next Nationwide race will be held at the Gateway Speedway next Saturday evening.
