NASCAR K&N East: Max Gresham on pole in New Hampshire

Points’ leader Max Gresham earned his third NASCAR K&N East pole of the 2011 season for the New England 125 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Gresham qualified in 29.960 seconds (127.130 mph) around the 1.013-mile oval. It was his fifth career NASCAR K&N Pro Series East pole.

He will start on the front row alongside Darrell Wallace Jr., who qualified second at 30.140 (126.370). Wallace's Revolution Racing teammate Sergio Peña qualified third at 30.287 (125.757).

It was a difficult day for Canadian Andrew Ranger would could only managed 25th at the helm of the No.35 Waste Management Chevrolet.
