Kevin Harvick (Chevy No 33) lead the most lap at the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 NASCAR Nationwide race held at the 1.25-mile Gateway International Speedway Saturday evening, but a miscalculation in fuel consumption made him run out of fuel... before he could reach pit lane!

That opened the door to points leader Kyle Busch (Camry No 18) who still had to keep Reed Sorensen (Camry No 32) behind at the end of the race to finally grab the checkered flag.

Carl Edwards (Ford No 60), who took four new tires during the seventh and last caution period of the race while Busch took only two, made it back to the front but did not have enough time to pass the two front runners.

He ended up third followed by Mike Bliss (Chevy No 1) and Brad Coleman (Camry No 20). Harvick finished 17th.

Busch still holds the lead of the Nationwide Championship with 212 points over Carl Edwards.

The next Nationwide race will be held at the O'Reilly Raceway Park next Saturday.
