Young Canadian race car driver Andrew Ranger won't take part in the next NASCAR Nationwide race at Watkins Glen.
Fitz Motorsports has decided to go with Ryan Newman for the road course event despite a remarkable performance of Ranger at the wheel of the No.22 car in Montreal last weekend.
Due to firm commitments to sponsors, Fitz Motorsports had no choice but to choose Ryan Newman but Ranger's presence at the following race in Bristol and other venues in October and November is still possible and negotiations are still going on.
