Nationwide Series' bosses are still to confirm when the car will be integrated into the second-tier, but it will probably be after August of next year on the 1.5-mile ovals.
It is also said that NASCAR is currently developing a Nationwide-spec version of the Car of Tomorrow, but it still in the wind tunnel stage of development and has not yet run on a track.
