The new 2015 Ford Edge Sport will go on sale across Canada this spring at a price of $45,199. With a 2.7L EcoBoost V6 producing 315 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, it's the most powerful Edge ever offered by Ford.
Fully redesigned, the 2015 Ford Edge Sport features a special sport-tuned suspension, specific Sport styling for exterior and interior, and a long list of available driver-assist technologies. It returns fuel efficiency ratings of 13.6L/100km in the city, 9.8L/100km on the highway, and 11.9L/100km combined.
Said suspension has been upgraded with front and rear anti-roll bars that are 15% stiffer than the base model's. It connects to standard 20” polished aluminum wheels with painted pockets (21” premium painted tarnished dark low-gloss aluminum wheels optional).
The interior of the 2015 Ford Edge Sport includes leather-trimmed sport seats with perforated suede inserts, ambient lighting, metal-plated accents throughout, Ford SYNC with 8” LCD touchscreen in the centre stack, two configurable LCD screens in the instrument cluster, and a 12-speaker Sony audio system.
Overall, the 2015 Ford Edge offers SE, SEL, Sport, and Titanium trim levels. Base model pricing starts at $31,999. Along with the 2.7L EcoBoost V6, two other engine options are available including a 2.0L EcoBoost four-cylinder rated at 245 horsepower and a 3.5L Ti-VCT V6 producing 280 horsepower.
