Silver is an obvious choice as it's the most popular of all automotive paint schemes at approximately one third of all cars on the road and typical of sport models, especially those of German decent - and there's a lot of German engineering in all 300s. Black, well, it's the toughest most menacing hue out there, and stunning on the 300C especially when accompanied by aftermarket blacked-out rear taillight lenses.

Chrysler's 300C SRT8 will offer performance sedan buyers a lot of car for under $50K when it becomes available this spring, and the $20,000 saved over the CTS-V can go towards powertrain upgrades, interior customization, or the fuel tank - a heavy right foot will no doubt suck back a lot of petrol.

If that thought makes you feel a little guilty, at least you can tell your do-gooder colleagues that your new 300C SRT8, like all Chrysler Group LX cars, which include the various 300 models, the Dodge Magnum and upcoming Dodge Charger, are produced right here in Canada, at Chrysler's Brampton, Ontario plant.
