The Montreal Auto Show will present the Canadian launches of three Nissan models. The 2011 LEAF, a 100% electric car that offers a range of 160 kilometres, will be on sale in the fall of 2011 (probably as a 2012).

The 2012 NISMO 370Z is a higher-performance version of Nissan’s Z sports car. Its 3.7-litre engine is massaged to produce 350 horsepower (up 18 ponies compared to the base 370Z), while exclusive dual exhaust, suspension, front and rear performance body dampers, NISMO 19-inch alloys, an aerodynamic body kit, and a front strut tower brace are also featured.

It also includes components taken from the Z’s sport package, including SynchroRev Match, a viscous limited-slip differential and sport brakes with 4-piston front calipers. The NISMO 370Z has been on sale in the United States for a while, and will finally reach the Canadian market next spring.

The 2012 GT-R will feature a host of improvements, including increased structural rigidity, suspension modifications, new tires and a bump in engine output, for a total of 520 horsepower. A new Black Edition will also be offered, which will offer unique seat design, interior colours and wheels. The new GT-R will arrive at the beginning of 2011.

The Montreal Auto Show will be held at the Palais des Congrès from January 14th to the 23rd. You can purchase tickets online at www.montrealautoshow.com.
