The event takes place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel (conference) and Complexe Desjardins (trade show).

Mobility Electric Canada, which is spearheading this international-scale event, has lined up more than 80 conference speakers, from Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia to share their knowledge and experiences, thereby providing an extraordinary learning opportunity about the key technical, commercial and political issues comprising electric mobility. These include: standards, regulations and safety in the electric vehicle market, now and in the foreseeable future; the various initiatives to promote and support electric vehicles; the performance of transportation alternatives in the context of climate change; the transitioning of the workers to an electric-vehicle society, along with an overview of current research and development activities across Canada.

Along with this there will be a panel discussion during which senior representatives of OEM's currently selling light and heavy duty vehicles in Canada will be invited to share their views on the Canadian market and describe the electric drive vehicle choices they will make available to Canadians over the next five years. A more comprehensive overview of the program can be found at the end of the press release.
