Mercedes-Benz and Pioneer have joined forces to transform the ultimate family vehicle into a rolling night club called Project-X.
Based on the German automaker's Euro-only Vito 122CDI Sport-X Dualiner minivan, this hip new ride boasts a turbocharged 3.0L V6 diesel engine rated at 224 horsepower and 324 lb-ft of torque. It will not only shoot you from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 8.3 seconds but also blow your socks off with a thundering audio system.
Powered by Pioneer, this premium stereo features two 15” competition class SPL subwoofers and four 10” Champion Series subwoofers. There are also two Pioneer CDJs, a state-of-the-art mixer, eight independent amplifiers using four batteries, and a 300 amp power supply.
With about $40,000 worth of Pioneer kit, Project-X is capable of destroying your eardrums with a whopping 30,050 watts of sound.
