Local driver Simon Dubé extended his victory streak at Rally Saguenay to three this Saturday, between Ferland-et-Boilleau, south of Ville Saguenay.

Dubé and co-driver Pat Lavigne won by an impressive 2:38 minutes margin to Coupe du Quebec winners Sylvain Bazinet and Lyne Murphy, also winners of that class at Sanair in April.

Philippe Roberge (Éric Lachance) and Jean-Marc Lord (Nathalie Simard) completed the Coupe Jon Nichols podium in front of forth place finisher Marc-Olivier Harnois (Éric Maltais).

In the Collaborators class, Éric Tremblay and co-driver Patrice Goulet took victory in their Subaru Impreza WRX.

Only six of the 12 teams participating to the event went all the way through it. The two first specials were particularly difficult for the competitors.

Quebec's Rally Championship will run its fourth of five races the season on August 15, the Rally Lac-aux-Sables.
