Polish Formula 1 driver Robert Kubica has bought a purebred world rally car and is rumoured to be considering entering a round of this year's championship.
The 24-year-old's mount is an AWD, 2-litre turbo Skoda Fabia, formerly raced by the Czech driver Jan Kopecky in the FIA World Rally Championship.
Reports say Kubica, one of BMW-Sauber’s drivers in Formula 1, made the purchase for "private tests and fun".
But rumours insist he may be planning a professional outing this year, possibly at the Rally Poland following next month's British grand prix.
