F3 Euroseries
Chassis: Dallara - Engine: 2-litre Mercedes / Volkswagen (210 bhp) - Tires: Kumho
Champion: Roberto Merhi (Spaniard, 20). Chances to make it to F1: 1/5.
The creation of the GP3 series has hurt the F3 Euroseries. A few years ago, there were more than 30 cars on the grid. This year, they were about 15. Roberto Merhi contested his 3rd season in F3 this year and he clinched the title. With little chance to arrive one day in F1, he may graduate to the DTM.

The disappearance of the Formula BMW series greatly boosted the Formula Renault series. Already a Formula BMW series' champion, Robin Frijns collected this year a second title in just three years of auto racing.
