mobile audio system is being made available as an option for the 2007 Sentra, while an 8-inch self-powered subwoofer will be available for the new Versa hatchback.

Rockford has been a well-known name in performance car audio for over 20 years. Their stereo upgrades provide listeners with powerful sound and an exciting experience which is fine-tuned to the particular make and model of vehicle the system is fitted to. The upgraded units fitted to the Sentra and Versa feature MP3 playback compatibility and come pre-wired for Sirius or XM satellite radio.

engineers. The resulting sound is deep, powerful bass coupled with crystal clear reproduction of the other frequencies made possible by 8 speakers, each with its own amplification channel.

The Versa will be offered with a powered 8-inch subwoofer for increased bass response and more authoritative sounding music. The unit is mounted within a composite enclosure in the vehicles cabin. An amplifier carrying Rockford's Punch bass circuit delivers over 100 watts to drive the subwoofer. The Versa stereo also houses an in-dash 6-CD changer with MP3 playback.

The Rockford-Nissan relationship will prove to sound sweet for both companies, as well as today's car-buying audiophile.
