The difference between the two brands, and the way each went about building small cars anyway, is that it's nary impossible to tell that Ford was tapped in the S40/V50s development, and it's completely obvious with the 9-2X.
Just the same, Saab has a new lineup of vehicles that should help it fight off rivals and grow stronger in an increasingly competitive market. What's more, its 9-3 line is expanding with the addition of a new wagon variant dubbed 9-3 SportCombi, targeting Saab's traditional clientele.
