Saturn's new foray into the large crossover SUV segment is called the Outlook. It seats 8, packs 270 horsepower, and transports occupants with a full arsenal of safety equipment including head curtain airbags for all three rows of seating.

From the outside, the Outlook carries forward some of the brand's youthful, edgy and up-class styling cues with plenty of chrome on the grille as well as a sharpened, aggressive look to the body. Inside, leather trim and wood accenting meld for a soothing, comfortable environment not out of place in a far more expensive machine.
Pricing for the new model was announced by GM earlier this week.
The front wheel drive XE designated model opens the bidding at $33,990, with all wheel drive bumping the price to $36,990. Top-line XR badged Outlook models carry a sticker price of $38,315 for front wheel drive, and $41,265 for AWD. The XR model brings 5 more horsepower and slightly more torque to the table as well.

All wheel drive equipped models are expected to return mileage of just under 9L / 100km during highway driving, which is the best mileage of any 8 passenger SUV, Saturn claims.
"Building on the strengths of the Sky, Vue Green Line hybrid, Sky Red Line turbo and the popular mid-size Aura sedan - all new this year - the Outlook combines great design and utility with better fuel economy than any eight-passenger SUV," said Dan Burton, Marketing Manager for Saturn. "It's part of our continuing revitalization strategy of combining great vehicles, cutting edge design and outstanding value together with Saturn's highly regarded customer care."
GM's 5-year / 160,000 kilometre powertrain warranty is also included.
