"My involvement with the Hospital's L/BMT Program began when my mother,Adella, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma - an incurable form of cancer thataffects the immune system," said Krall. "After she underwent a successful bonemarrow transplant in 1996 at VGH, the disease went into remission. Performingat this event is my way of thanking and supporting the incredible caregiversin the L/BMT Program who have taken such good care of my mother over theyears."
