Subaru today released a picture and announced the launch of the new Levorg STI in Japan this summer. It is based on the concept seen at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Show.
There are no plans to sell the car in North America, however.
The Subaru Levorg STI will help celebrate the signature BOXER engine’s 50th anniversary this year while giving fans who were mourning the loss of the 5-door WRX STI a reason to rejoice.
We don’t have any official details about the powertrain at this point, but many expect to find the same 2.0L turbo mill that was under the hood of the concept.
