The Geneva Auto Show will open its doors to the public this year from March 3 through 13, but already Subaru is announcing a global product launch.
Subaru’s much-discussed and long-awaited sports car, developed in conjunction with Toyota, will finally make a public appearance in Geneva. Its name right now is “Subaru Rear-Wheel Drive Sports Car Technology Concept”, which honestly could’ve been a little longer. Despite all the speculation, little info has been published to date, other than it will obviously use a Subaru Boxer engine that drives the rear wheels.
The Subaru Trezia will also make its European debut at the show. A clone of Toyota’s Verso S subcompact wagon that’s sold in Europe, the Trezia will offer a choice of 1.3-litre gas and 1.4-litre turbodiesel engines, and offers a maximum cargo capacity of 1,322 litres.
Finally, the Subaru Impreza Concept will also be on display. First shown at the Los Angeles Auto Show last November, it hints at what the production 2012 Impreza will look like when it will be unveiled this summer.
