Subaru has signed a deal with KICKER Performance Audio, giving clients the chance to upgrade their factory sound systems.

Owners of the 2008-2011 Impreza and 2011 WRX and WRX STI can now rock to the sound of a 10-inch woofer and 100-watt digital amplifier.

The woofer will be strategically placed in the trunk to minimize any loss of cargo space, while the amp will be easily connected to the original stereo by way of custom wiring.

Canadian Subaru dealers will start taking orders and installing the system in a few weeks. Subaru and KICKER have not yet revealed pricing details.
