Smallest Saab Flies High in Toronto This Summer
What some car companies will do to get a little attention. But at least this time the one-of-a-kind sculpture "Mobile Fun" looks like it will match the marketing "spin" GM's Saab division is giving it.

Created by John Körmeling, the 9-2X ferris wheel will be on display at The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery at the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto this summer.
The ferris wheel is over 30 meters (100 feet) in diameter, and features four Saab 9-2X sports wagons in suspension. Those wanting to take the 9-2X for a literal spin can do so without a salesperson with pen in hand, no strings attached.

"The Mobile Fun exhibit really takes the Saab brand to new heights," said Michael Grimaldi, president, General Motors of Canada Limited while unveiling the new exhibit at the Powerball. "I am pleased that Saab is a part of this sculpture, which puts the wheels in motion for the launch of the new Saab 9-2X."
The new Saab, the first to wear the Swedish brand's badge to be priced below the $30,000 mark since the 1997 900, will go on sale across the country on Canada Day, July 1, 2004.
