Elon Musk has a penchant for suspense, and a new announcement certainly follows in this vein: A Twitter message posted on October 9th by the Tesla mastermind tells of the unveiling of a Tesla “product” on Monday, October 17th. No further details have as yet been forthcoming.
This has set in motion much furious speculation: Does it involve an update of their self-driving technology? New features for the Tesla Model 3, scheduled for launch in 2017? Car and green technology watchers are waiting impatiently for next Monday!
And that’s not all: In the same message Elon Musk mentioned a launch for SolarCity set for October 28th. This set more rumours flying, some claiming it involves the development of an improved battery, others the introduction of a sunroof.
