Ford Freestyle
Just like the Five Hundred, the Freestyle got a second chance on life with a new powertrain and a new name: the Taurus X.

The Freestyle was also equipped with the 203-hp V6, which just doesn't cut it today compared to more-powerful rivals. The Taurus X should sell better.

Ford Grand Marquis

Ford Grand Marquis
In 2008, this full-size luxobarge will no longer be available in dealerships. What used to be a Mercury sedan was confusingly tossed into the Ford lineup instead of the Crown Victoria, the latter being reduced to fleet and commercial sales only.

The Grand Marquis is one of the last true rear-wheel drive, V8-powered American softies, with couches instead of seats and the sweetheart of retired senior citizens. Powered by a 224-hp version of Ford's 4.6-liter V8, the Grand Marquis no longer fits in Ford's new-edge lineup.
