The “e-trons” that Audi has unveiled over the last little while will shortly be much more than simple concepts. By late 2012, a limited run production sports car will be available based on the showcar that was presented at the 2009 edition of the Frankfurt auto show.
Audi plans to launch their firstr hybrid, a Q5, at the start of 2011. This vehicle should pave the way for others such as the A8 hybrid (displayed at the last Geneva Motor Show) and others. Given Audi's history as an innovator, they will surely deliver.
