The display area reserved for the Alfa Romeo centenary at this year’s edition of the prestigious Concours d’Élégance will include the newest Pininfarina concept car, which was unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. Built to celebrate Pininfarina’s 80th anniversary, the 2uettottanta also constitutes a tribute to the long-lasting alliance that ties Alfa Romeo and the famous Italian car designer.

The other two Pininfarina designs are somewhat different by nature. The first one is the Ferrari P540 Superfast Aperta is a one-off model built for an American client, Edward Walson, the son of John Walson, the inventor of cable TV. The other is the Lancia Aurelia B52 PF200 of which only five different copies were built in the 50s and exhibited at different motor shows. The PF200 that will be exhibited is owned by American collector Bill Pope, who asked the Pininfarina Special Projects department to carry out a complete restoration of his car in 2009.
