Stylistically, the new Malibu is an excellent evolution of the 2008 car. The shorter wheelbase mimics GM's plan that less is more. Gone is the V6, remaining behind as the only engine choice is a 2.5L 4-cylinder. We bet a turbocharged 4-pot will make its way on the option list before long.
