Chevrolet Colorado ZR2
This is, in many ways, GM’s answer to Ford’s juggernaut. That said, the Colorado is smaller than the F-150 and comes with engine choices (a naturally aspirated gasoline V6 and a 4-cylinder turbo) that don’t deliver the same punch as what its rival can offer. The good news is what’s located under the pickup’s bed, and it’s an actually a Canadian creation. The suspension system is the work of Ontario firm Multimatic, and it’s a pure marvel for absorbing the upheavals of a rock-strewn even simply dilapidated road surface.
