No snickering please. It’s hard to believe but under the shell of this luxury SUV lurks one of the best 4X4s in the industry. The Lexus LX is in reality a Toyota Land Cruiser dressed up for Sunday church. In the U.S. that Land Cruiser is still available, but here in the True North, it’s the Sequoia’s job to lure large or extended families to the Toyota brand. Meantime the Lexus LX, with its V8 engine, 8-speed automatic transmission and multi-mode 4WD system is able to get out of just about any mess you put it in!
