Infotainment systems developed by auto manufacturers are not always, shall we say, the most user-friendly. The desire to offer more options to consumers can lead to overly complex and obtuse systems. Now, a growing number of new models are compatible with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems. You plug in your smartphone and its screen and functions are displayed on the dashboard screen.
