3 – Volkswagen Golf – 30 million
The history of the Volkswagen Golf is one of success, period. What’s incredible when you consider this model, is that in creating it VW simply borrowed the Beetle’s recipe, but gave it a modern twist. That was in 1974; as of today, over 30 million units have been sold. And the end is nowhere in sight. Remarkable.
