Not to be outdone, Plymouth, a division of Chrysler, couldn’t resist producing its own version of the woody; this one also dates from the late 1940s.
Ford

There is no more emblematic example of the woody than a late-40s Ford. This car was lightly modified with the addition of a lowered suspension, more-modern wheels and a newer V8 engine.
