6. 6th generation (1996-2000)
This one represented a nice evolution, honouring past generations while looking to the future. The “Miracle Civic” introduced the Civic Si Coupe in 1999, a natural gas variant called GX, and the first application of a continuously variable transmission (CVT) in a Civic.
