4. Kia Sorento
The Kia Sorento is benefiting from a mid-generation makeover in 2019, and looks all the better for it. Its growing popularity in Canada is reflected in last year’s sales figures for this country, and a big part of that is surely that it offers probably the best value in its segment – a powerful sales argument.
Note that the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo engine has been removed from the product offering for 2019, leaving the 2.4L naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine and its 185 hp as the default choice. There’s also the 3.3L V6 with an output of 290 hp, which has the advantage of also being able to pull 5,000 lbs - tops in the category.
