9 — Mini Cooper SE

The Mini Cooper is always at or near the top of lists that rank driving pleasure. But its reputation for reliability is not exactly sterling, which combines pretty badly with the fact that its maintenance costs are frighteningly high. Many of you have attested to that reality.
With the electric version, though, there may be hope, because the SE will almost certainly be more reliable. And it’s not like you lose anything behind the wheel - the fun factor is still intact, and the generous torque that this version enjoys allows for some really fun manoeuvres, especially when it comes to sneaking through heavy traffic or in passing situations. All that remains for Mini is to improve on the current range; 177 km is frankly piddly.
