The Chevrolet Volt is, to the chagrin of many, on its last legs before the manufacturer lays it to rest. But though it’s about to disappear, it still represents an ideal solution for those who want to benefit from consumption-reducing electric power but spare themselves range anxiety. With its range of 80 km (55 in winter), it actually allows users to do most short-haul commuting without touching the combustion engine, and thus get some seriously low fuel consumption totals.
