6-Nissan Armada and Infiniti QX80
Nissan answers the Chevrolet Tahoe and Ford Expedition with the Armada, while the INFINITI QX80 exists to take on the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator. Formerly based on the old Titan pickup, the Armada, and the QX80 for that matter, are based on the Nissan Patrol SUV, not sold in North America. As a result, this large, 7-or-8-passenger SUV has its own distinct bed and independent rear suspension. Nissan’s 5.6L V8 (390 hp and 394 lb-ft of torque in the Armada, 400 hp and 413 lb-ft in its luxury twin the QX80) works in tandem with a 7-speed automatic to hit a maximum towing capacity of 8,500 lbs. Take note that the QX80 sports an eye-pleasing, redesigned front end and more-elegant style elements for 2018.
