Best luxury sedan: Genesis G70
Here is a nice surprise in the category of luxury sport sedans. That this model comes from a brand that didn’t even exist as a stand-alone company until fall of 2016 makes its achievement all the more remarkable.
Distinct from but still supported by Hyundai, Genesis has replicated the Korean automaker’s formula, which can be summed up as follows: offer more, for less money. The G70 is rich in standard equipment, but its platform is also built to handle sporty driving, while its interior and its available powertrains are every bit the equal of the best others in this class have to offer. And as the price tag is lower than the category average, the sport sedan shoots to the top of my best value list.
