Ford's luxury brand has already indicated that it wants to partner with Rivian in the development of a future all-electric SUV. Here, the name is purely fictitious, but as Car and Driver indicates, with an electric powertrain, the Mark E name seems appropriate, so why not go with it.
Once again, you’ll have to patient in this case; the new EV model is expected only in 2022 or thereabouts.
2023 Land Rover Defender 80
To keep up with the current trend for off-road-flavoured utility vehicles, Jaguar Land Rover might be tempted to emulate Ford, which is about to launch the Bronco and the Bronco Sport at more or less the same time (the latter being basically a scaled-down copy of the former).
Land Rover has just relaunched its legendary Defender, but this model isn't for everyone due to its dimensions and price point. A Defender 80 (meaning, smaller) could help boost sales for the brand, now property of Indian automotive giant Tata.
