Subaru BRZ… and maybe a Toyota 86?
The Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86 tandem is not as old as Nissan's sports car. Nevertheless, the only two-wheel drive car to carry the Subaru name brand needed a revision of its own, and so did its Toyota twin, which by the by has not been unveiled yet so we can’t really say for sure what it will consist of.
However, we can expect the same improvements in both cases, for instance a redesigned body, updated interior and inclusion of a new 2.4L naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder engine mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic unit.
Ultimately, the character of the Subaru BRZ should not be altered all that much, which is great news for fans of the coupe.
