Mini is also preparing to go electric. And in order to keep the EV-minded clientele in-house - we know many EV buyers are interested in crossovers first and foremost - the Countryman EV seems just the ticket.
The replacement for the current gasoline-powered Countryman will be slightly larger in every way, but will be mostly electric. The automaker has even promised a combined output of 308 hp for the dual-motor version. You'll have to be patient, though, as the electric Countryman is only expected for the 2025 model-year.
