8 – GMC Vandura
Those of a certain age will recall how ubiquitous were Chevrolet and GMC vans like the Vandura seen in the foreground here. Once again, it’s the exceptional condition of the van that marvels here, especially since these GMC/Chevrolet products were known to be prone to rusting. As it happens, as I was readying to take the photo, what pulled up alongside it but a Chevrolet Astro. The two models, which targeted different market segments, were available commercially from GM between 1985 and 1995.
