
While it may not be the most futuristic-looking thing on this list, there are many out there who a) appreciate more reserved styling from their BEV and B) like how BMW’s look in general and wouldn’t want this one to stray too far from that.
Indeed, the i5 is distinctive with its kidney grille, blocky wheel designs and narrow taillights, and it looks every bit the handsome mid-size sedan that BMW is so well known for.
This BMW EV provides the expected powertrain capabilities and handling as well. Output is a healthy 593 hp and 605 lb-ft, enough for a 0-100 km/h sprint of less than 4 seconds. Of course, being a BMW, it has to handle as well, so it gets niceties like standard M Sport brakes and optional Adaptive M suspension.
Look for a combined EV range of over 510 km.
