25 - 1974 Reliant Robin
This was the replacement for the Regal after it was discontinued in 1973. The Robin had a special feature that has been adopted throughout the automotive industry ever since. Can you guess what it is? The model featured a rear window that could be opened for loading. The rear seats could also be folded down, which greatly increased available space.
The Robin was a big success and many copies were produced and shipped around the world.
26 - 1950s French Microcar
There was no description of this car when we visited the museum. And as of today, while it does appear on the museum's website, curators admit they still know nothing about its origins. Moreover, some searching online gave us nothing further to go on. Very mysterious.
Which of course motivates us to identify it if it’s the last thing we do. So we’ll keep trying. And in the meantime, if anyone recognizes this car, we ask for your help in identifying it.
