4. 4^th generation (1988-1991)

Delivering more passenger room and better performance than the first three generations, the “Grand Civic” benefited from a double-wishbone front and rear suspension that significantly improved handling. As a matter of fact, tuners began to show interest in the Civic at that moment. The beloved CRX was phased out. On the bright side, no more carbureted engines were sold in North America as electronic fuel injection took over.
