3. 5^th generation (1992-1995)

The aptly named “Sports Civic” replaced the CRX with a 2-door coupe and also spawned the fun little Civic del Sol with removable roof panel. Under the hood, Honda launched its now-renowned VTEC valve control system. The exterior design proved more aerodynamic. Tuning and racing enthusiasts all over the world still love this Civic.
