7- Nissan Frontier

In spite of the increasingly fierce competition looming on the horizon in the segment, Japanese manufacturer continues to offer its Frontier midsize pickup without significant changes since its last renewal some 10 years ago. 

It’s true that in the rest of the world, Nissan is producing a new, redesigned truck, the Navarra, but it will likely be some time before that model makes it to North American shores. Still, fans of the brand and of this type of truck know what they’re getting with the Frontier, which is offered in several versions, including a base model with a 4-cylinder engine, and at the other end of the spectrum sporty trims such as the Pro-4X.
