Pricing for the second-generation 2020 Soul EV has just now been unveiled by Kia Canada, and it’s no surprise to find it sneaking in just under the magic $45,000 mark.

Of course, the first-gen 2019 Soul EV is still available, but with the new, updated edition coming out the old version’s technological offering just got less interesting. Most notably, the equivalent of 201 hp and 291 lb-ft of torque available from the 2020 Soul EV’s powertrain makes it a much more compelling choice than the outgoing edition.
