Kia Niro EV
Kia Canada also brought its new 2019 Kia Niro EV’s price point in under the $45,000 bar to make it eligible for the new federal EV discount.
Within the company’s lineup, the Niro occupies more or less the same spot as the IONIQ does for Kia; it too is available in a hybrid, plug-in hybrid or all-electric configuration – the latter as of summer 2019. The Niro EV has an EPA-estimated maximum range of 385 km on a charge, and its powertrain is the same as found in the Soul EV.
