Vancouver International Auto Show: Hyundai
There are a few stirring Hyundai products to be taken in here at the Vancouver International Auto Show, including the all-new Genesis sports sedan and Elantra Touring, as well as an updated Sonata sedan. The 2009 Genesis marks Hyundai's first dedicated entry into the premium sedan market. This push is being driven by rear-wheel-drive and a 4.6-litre V8 that is expected to produce 375 horsepower and 333 lb.-ft. of torque while sprinting to 100 km/h in less than six seconds. More economical 3.3- and 3.8-litre V6 engines will also be available, but all powertrains will utilize the same six-speed automatic transmission with shiftronic manual control.
